How Can You Obtain How Can You Obtain Bitcoin?
There are several ways that you can obtain Bitcoin.
First, you can buy it with money or fiat money by using a cryptocurrency exchange. A cryptocurrency exchange will exchange fiat money for certain types of cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin. Popular crypto exchanges include BlockFi, Gemini, and CoinBase.
Bitcoin can also be purchased through a hybrid exchange which is referred to as a Peer-to-Peer crypto marketplace, such as the non-custodial platform offered by LocalCryptos.
Another way that you can obtain Bitcoin is by selling an item or service and then receiving Bitcoin in return. A growing number of corporations now accept payments for their goods or services via cryptocurrencies. For example, Paypal, Microsoft, AT&T, and of course Tesla have all announced that they are now accepting payment in the form of Bitcoin.
Third, new Bitcoins can be earned by successfully mining new coins. As described previously, the Bitcoin network establishes a global competition among bitcoin miners who race against each other to mine these new coins.
